Maria Antonucci, MD was born and raised in Pittsburgh, PA (Oakmont). She attended the University of Pittsburgh for undergraduate with a major in Neuroscience and a Minor in Italian. She studied abroad in Milan, Italy for a semester. She then attended Ross University School of Medicine in Dominica, West Indies.

Antonucci completed her Pediatric residency at the University of Louisville, Kosair Children’s Hospital. She then went on to complete her Pediatric Emergency Medicine fellowship at UPMC Children’s Hospital of Pittsburgh. She now divides her time as an Assistant Professor of Pediatrics between the divisions of Pediatric Emergency Medicine and Child Advocacy.
