Patricia Elizabeth Staley, MD

  • Assistant Professor of Pediatrics

Staley is an Assistant Professor of Pediatrics within the department of General Academic Pediatrics. She completed her medical degree at Penn State Hershey College of Medicine and residency at UCLA Mattel Children's Hospital participating in the Child Health and Advocacy Track. After completing residency she spent three years on the Navajo Nation working with IHS at Chinle Comprehensive Health Care Facility. Staley then practiced in Santa Fe, New Mexico and Woodstock, VT before returning home to Pittsburgh. Her experiences have fostered a passion for ensuring availability of high quality care in resource limited environments with a focus on promoting child well being through strong caregiver function and collaborating with community resources. She works at the UPMC Children's Hospital's Primary Care Center and UPMC Magee Women's Hospital's newborn nursery.
