Jessica L. Metzinger, BA
- Research Parent-Child Interventionist
Jessica graduated with a Bachelor’s degree in Psychology and a minor in Child Development in 2018. She is trained in both the Incredible Years School Age Parent Program and the Video Interaction Project. Post-graduation, she worked in community and school-based behavioral health prior to coming to the University of Pittsburgh in December 2019. Jessica is now a Video Interaction Project interventionist for Smart Beginnings as well as The Pittsburgh Study. She works with families at Children’s Primary Care Center in Oakland. Jessica’s research interests include child and maternal mental health, emotional regulation and peer interactions in children, and socioeconomic effects on health outcomes.
