Miller Recognized as "2022 Friend of School Nursing" by Pennsylvania Association of School Nurses and Practitioners

Elizabeth Miller, MD, PhD, FSAHM pictured with Friend of School Nursing Award.Congratulations to Elizabeth Miller, MD, PhD, FSAHM, director of the Division of Adolescent and Young Adult Medicine, on her recognition by the Pennsylvania Association of School Nurses and Practitioners (PSNAP) as a "2022 Friend of School Nursing."

PSNAP is a professional association representing interests of Pennsylvania's Certified School Nurses (CSNs).  Founded in 1986, the organization is affiliated with the National Association of School Nurses and focuses on continuing education initiatives.

Miller is professor of pediatrics, public health, and clinical and translational science at the Pitt School of Medicine and holds the Edmund R. McCluskey Chair in Pediatric Medical Education.  She participates in multiple community-based outreach initatives across Pitt and UPMC including The Pittsburgh Study.
