for placing as a semifinalist in the 2023 Trainee Awards for Excellence in Human Genetics Research.
American Society of Human Genetics (ASHG) honors excellence in research conducted by predoctoral and postdoctoral trainees through merit-based awards that recognize highly competitive abstracts submitted and presented at the ASHG Annual Meeting.
The competition this year was intense with over 1,000 applicants for only 60 semifinalists and 18 finalists selections, and we are very proud of Yonne for reaching this level in the competition.
This award is given by the American Society of Human Genetics and was given out at their 2023 annual meeting held in Washington, DC, from November 1-5.
