Board certified or Board eligible pediatric emergency medicine physicians are invited to apply to this one-year program.
Fellows will join as clinical instructors and work as attending physicians in the emergency department at UPMC Children’s Hospital of Pittsburgh. They will work an abbreviated clinical schedule to allow plenty of time to dedicate to ultrasound activities.
Fellows will lead conference and bedside scan shifts toward the second half of their training year where learners will include medical students, residents, and PEM advanced practice providers, fellows and faculty.
Fellows will work with faculty to design a scholarly project and submit abtracts to national and international conferences
